Basswood Body with Arched Maple Top

The Gretsch G5434T-LTD is constructed from a chambered Basswood body to offer a thick and resonant tone. The chambered body and light nature of Basswood allows for a dynamic and pronounced tone whilst the arched laminate Maple top delivers a focused low response and crisp, articulate highs.

Bigsby Tremolo Bridge

Featuring a unique Bigsby vibrato tremolo bridge the G5434T-LTD allows you to bend the pitch of notes and chords with the robust whammy bar. With a roller bridge system and spring loaded arm pushing down the whammy bar allows the string tension to be relieved lowering the pitch. The pressure spring counterbalances the natural tension of the strings allowing the guitar to hold tuning when in neutral position.

Black Top FilterTron Pickups

Developed by Ray Butts for Chet Atkins the Black Top FilterTron pickups utilize dual coils and six sets of adjustable screw pole-pieces to offer a bright, vintage tone. Additionally the FilterTron pickups incorporate an innovative design to filter out hum, neon noises, crackle and electrical disturbances.
